The Philippine Baptist Orphanage

The purpose of this page is to chronicle the building of our second orphanage.  We are working in Mexico, Pampanga.  The municipality has a land area of 117.41 square kilometers or 45.33 square miles which constitutes 5.86% of Pampanga’s total area. Its population as determined by the 2015 Census was 154,624. We are working specifically with New Life Baptist Church led by Pastor Jeremy Ferguson. There is currently an existing orphanage there with approximately 50 children, but the need is so great, we will be building another orphanage on this land and take in even more children!  Our first phase of the project will be a building that will house kids and 2 house parents.  The next phase will be identical and hold 12 more kids and 2 more houseparents.

In fact, there’s enough land available that we could keep adding additional rooms to house up to almost 100 kids, Lord willing!  We’re grateful for the opportunity to work with New Life Baptist as we share their love and concern for Filipino orphans.

Below are a few pictures of the very first set of supplies arriving.  The kids already on site are so excited to watch the additional orphanage be built and they stand ready to welcome all of the new kids that will be joining them!

And this is why we do what we do!

We are making tremendous progress!  In a little over one month’s time, the new building has taken shape and it won’t be long until we are able to take in more orphans.  II Corinthians 9:15 “Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!”
